Slept the whole day coz raining...supposed to go dental clinic help out, but then tak jadi coz sleeping...
Nite time is the best part, cause...yep, food!

I went with Michelle n her family to this chinese hawker stall in Alor Setar.Along the way, we passed the Istana where the sultan actually stays, very grand but i tak jadi take pic. And the balairung seri where sultan kedah meets his subjects, very beautiful. And the museum, old historical buildings, very attractive, especially with the lighting effects at nite.

There were many hawker stalls. Each selling various food. My friend's dad ordered "moi" for me = porridge in hokkien. I m picking up hokkien, as people in semenanjung don't speak hakka, and seldom speak cantonese, and i can't speak hokkien, why lah didn't i learn it in Kudat, my mum's hometown...and we ordered "ling" teh, a herbal tea, i assume, i just follow-follow what they order, hehe...Their "zhu cheong fun" (cantonese) was unlike sandakan style, the kuah is sweet and spicy, yumm!! And there's this "lo bak" = gravy and pork? a mixture of fried pork, fried bean curd, fried pandan chiken (like satay), fried yam in salted egg...

I'm so full today!!! It's a foodie holiday!
