What a day! Just came back from AIMST in Sungai Petani, managed to meet with my matrics and fellow Yayasan Sabah friend. The place is so modern! So mem"wow"kan!
A lil' recap on the day's activities: Went to Soup kitchen in the morning, like yesterday, but today encountered a rude old lady...learnt that "geh tam bo" means the people wants me to give some more lauk. A few people took advantage of us new helper by beimg choosy, demanding and greedy. Want chicken paha la, want more potato lah, want one more ketul chicken, want more gravy, want more and more of everything...haih...have to be strict although serving them. Quite hard.
In the afternoon, we went to Rumah Superkids and gave tuition to the kids. I have to teach the kids 乘法表. Walao! So hard it must have been for them to memorise all basic 12 of it. It was really a miracle that I managed to learn that. (Thanks mum, for teaching me without giving up, and thanks Hannah, for showing me the answer behind mum's back..hehe...) I had a hard time getting my kid to memorise at least 2 & 3. But then I applied the method we used to teach memory verse in sunday school. List all of them on a paper n then rub off bit by bit, until the paper is completely blank and yet the kid can recite perfectly well! Heheh...good strategy learnt eh? But but but, at the end baru I realised that she could do it because there were still traces of it on the paper...no wonder she can't memorise without staring at the already blank paper lah, anyway, I consider her pass lah, kesian bah little girl.
At night, went with my friend and her friends to Sungai Petani, 1 hour away from Jitra, to go AIMST and then eat dinner. I was so glad to meet my friend there! Din talk much though because I'm with my friend and her friends. We went to this nice chinese shop in Bedong, one special dish is the pork leg! Fried, the meat tender...yummm...savoured every bit of it...and we tapau-ed "man tou" very special also, like burger, but the bread/bun is steamed. Actually wanted to take pic to let you guys see, but too late, because already slide into my stomach..hehe..yep, food makes me sooo happy!
Actually on the way back from Sg Petani to Jitra, got news from dad n Hannah that this blog has been removed, so scared, so sad...but thank God, He helped me find and found this blog, dunno where it went, the first thing i did when i reached "home" was to check this blog, and i can''t find it, it says that "the blog has been removed, wat twinsscribbles does not exist..." so scared! Then i prayed and tried again, it came back. Thank God!
This blog is to let you know what's going on in our lives--even spiritually. Hope you appreciate this blog and hope what we have shared will be an encouragement to all of you in some ways or another. If a certain post has encouraged you, feel free to comment on how it encouraged you. I 'd be so happy to know that what I've written is not nonsense semata-mata...
okay, just to let you know, I love you all...God bless!
